Day 2

Building is still going on around the Common. It’s a little muddy, but the sun is shining and the sky is almost cloudless. The field abounds with the sound of sawing, hammering and performers rehearsing. The FairTunes banners and t-shirts have arrived ahead of the people and we’re preparing to welcome our bands who will all be arriving in the next day or two. There’s an eerie calm around the festival site – it’s the run up to the storm.
